I got bored while following along with my keyboard lesson book, and decided to vibe on c +d -- minimalist shit for sure!

If you can make a song out of this crap, I'll be so impressed that I'll let you have mechanical royalties to it ;-)

I started with a loop in Logic, and added some alien-esque vocals using the exsp24II.

5.5 second funky lounge ringtune

Composed using Logic 7 + Ozonic iDrum using drum samples from MADFX (hiphoptools.com).

Composed in Logic/iDrum, finished with trash.

I wouldn't mind seeing what someone could do by building on this loop...

This one gets a bit more complicated, because its actually 3 different drum loops sequenced together. I'm progressing :-)

Sort of Smashing Pumpkins meets ACDC. No idea what to do with this. Any one know billy corgans' email?

This is the result of some experimentation in Logic Express this morning. Basically, it has a short atmospheric start, then goes right into a very bland 80's dance bass sync spliced with a more modern, darker dance beat. I'd love to see someone add some depth to this, I'm definitely looking for something hard edged with this one...

Added some lead guitar ideas. The mix is no where near good - just wanted to share some ideas. If you like parts of it, I can re-record it and send you the raw wav files. Yes - I might be stuck in the 1980's....

An experiment gone awry. If anyone hears anything they'd like to fix let me know. This is actually not what Illinois 13 is doing right now but six months ago when I recorded this I'm not sure exactly what I was thinking about . Anyway, never tracked a bassline or a main riff to back up the lead vocal. The solo could be replaced as well. This is the first track I'm uploading so expect some different stuff as I get the new tunes worked out.

An extremely Skeleton song, it's missing so much that I almost didn't want to upload but I think some people out there could flesh this out, and we could get a tight track from it.....
